What does this Agent do?

Use this template when you need an agent that can gather verified, up-to-date information from the web. It collects information directly from real, live web pages and produces evidence-based answers. Here’s what this agent can do:
  • Runs web searches using SerpAPI
  • Crawls or scrapes pages using FireCrawl
  • Extracts clean text from the web
  • Summarizes the findings into accurate, verifiable answers
Scraping allows you to extract information from one page while crawling will allow you to pull information from an entire site

Setup

Customize prompt

This agent uses the Web Research Agent prompt template.
Go to Prompts → Templates → Add Template to select it.
Replace all variables—shown in curly brackets—to match your values.

Configure integrations

Add both the FireCrawl and SerpAPI integrations.
Go to Integrations → Add New and connect them using the required credentials (such as API keys).

Build agent

Go to the Agent tab and click Add New.
Enter your agent’s name and description.
Add your prompt and integrations.
Select gpt-4.1 as your model, then click Save.

Use agent

Open the Chat panel and select your new agent from the dropdown.
Start asking questions.
Adjust the prompt or knowledge bases if you want to refine the agent’s search behavior or tone.
